Alpha Roofing Services Ltd, situated in Lowestoft, Suffolk, was established in 1995. We provide commercial, industrial, and domestic roofing solutions in East Anglia and North London. With a strong workforce comprising solely employed labour and a team of reliable labour-only sub-contractors on standby, we can increase our workforce and meet our clients' requirements whenever needed. Whilst we operate mainly throughout East Anglia, we work further afield for our regular clients if required.
Our History and Growth
Since Alpha Roofing was established, we have progressed and grown into the multi-discipline, highly professional contractor we are today, offering a variety of roofing systems and services from flat roofing to roof tiling, and partnering with a variety of industry-leading manufacturers to provide a bespoke specification and design service to our clients. Our annual turnover ranges between 1.5m - 2m. We maintain all required levels of insurance, providing peace of mind for the client on any contract we embark upon - 10m Professional Indemnity Insurance, 10m Employers Liability, 5m Public Liability, and 1m Contracts Works/All Risks.
Our Ethos and Objectives
The ethos of the company's management is to provide a one-stop roofing service with an emphasis on quality and value for money. We pride ourselves on delivering a professional service that we offer to our clients, main contractors, and local authorities. Our main objective has always been to establish repeat client relationships based on the services we provide. This has been achieved to date by focusing on client satisfaction and the continual improvement of our standards.
Our Services
We provide a comprehensive range of roofing services for a variety of roof types. We offer full insurance-backed warranties for 10, 15, 20, and 25 years on work carried out. We are predominantly a flat roofing contractor, but we do also provide pitched roofing and also provide the following services: High-Performance Felt Roofing Systems, Single Ply Roofing, Liquid Applied Waterproofing, Tiling and Slating, Sheeting and Cladding, and Green Roofs.
Disappointing Experiences with ALPHA Roofing
Unreliability and Poor Communication
Both reviewers expressed frustration and disappointment with ALPHA Roofing's unprofessional behavior. David J. Harrison was expecting a quote, but the company failed to show up at the agreed time and still hasn't provided a quote. Similarly, Stephen Hann had a previous positive experience with ALPHA Roofing, but this time, they cancelled the initial appointment and failed to reschedule, leaving him waiting at home for two days without any communication.
Lack of Interest and Disinterest
Stephen Hann was particularly upset with the disinterested attitude of the ALPHA Roofing representative he spoke to, who failed to acknowledge his emails, cancelled appointments, and didn't bother to call him back. This lack of interest in the business Hann was willing to offer them is appalling and unacceptable.
Unacceptable Customer Service
Both reviewers were let down by ALPHA Roofing's failure to provide basic customer service. They were left waiting, without communication or updates, and ultimately, without a quote or resolution to their roofing issues.
